The National Service Scheme of Model Engineering College is one of the most active clubs in the college.NSS not only provides a platform for providing service to the society ,but also an opportunity for overall development of its members.

​The NSS student’s chapter attempts to establish meaningful linkage between the students and the society by organizing social action drives such as blood donation camps, tree planting initiatives, visits to orphanages and old age homes, providing education to underprivileged children, campaigns on Health, nutrition and family welfare, AIDS awareness etc. It also takes initiatives in the improvement and maintenance of campus infrastructure
